Dr Morton Burt is an Endocrinologist working within the Southern Adelaide Diabetes and Endocrine Service and holds a South Australian Health Practitioner Fellowship. He is also Director of Advanced Training at Flinders Medical Centre, Senior Lecturer in Medicine at Flinders University, Deputy Editor for Endocrinology for the Internal Medicine Journal and a current member of the Program Organizing Committee for the Endocrine Society of Australia Annual Scientific Meeting. Dr Burt’s research aims to define the effects of glucocorticoids and other hormones on carbohydrate metabolism and cardiovascular risk. His main clinical interests are pituitary disease and genetic endocrine disorders.
