Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Many delegates have concerns or queries regarding the meeting in light of coronavirus (COVID-19) and we wish to reassure all attendees that we are monitoring the situation and at this stage the meeting will go ahead as planned.
Participant health and safety is of utmost importance to us, so we are ensuring that we are taking all necessary precautions regarding COVID-19. We are monitoring the advice from Australian Federal and State Health authorities and believe it is safe and feasible to go ahead with the Seminar. This decision is based on the fact that it is a relatively small meeting (of less than 300 delegates) with limited international participation. We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves, will continue to follow the advice of health authorities and keep you all informed of any changes.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Risk Management
As per the Australian Government Department of Health, the risk of exposure to COVID-19 is believed to be highest for those people who have travelled through mainland China, Italy, Iran and South Korea. If you travel through any of the above countries at risk of COVID-19 within 14 days of April 17th, we ask that you NOT attend the Seminar.
If you have travelled (including transit) through any of the following countries currently at high risk of COVID-19 within 14 days of April 17th - Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Thailand or Singapore, we ask that you are vigilant for any symptoms and reconsider attending Th Seminar should any symptoms develop.
If your organisation/institute has placed a ban on interstate travel (or attending the Seminar meeting) you will be entitled to a full refund of your registration. Accommodation bookings can be cancelled 30 days prior to the Seminar without incurring any penalties.
